In order for most of us to remain healthy, vibrant and strong in today's world, it is no longer enough for us to just eat our veggies, sleep and exercise. While these things are a great start, the world in which we live is very polluted- indeed, studies show that babies are born with over 200 chemical toxins inside their bodies (so imagine how many more those of us who have been around 30, 40 or 50 years have inside of us!)- so it's essential for us to know how to identify and choose life-giving foods, remove environmental toxins from our body and home, and practice healthy living in order to become all that God has created us to be. In the Journey to Wellness book series, which I co-authored with renowned integrative medical doctor W. Lee Cowden, MD, we show readers how to do exactly that! In the first book, "Create a Toxin-Free Body and Home...Starting Today" Dr. Cowden and I share some simple solutions for removing toxins from the body and home. In the second, "Foods that Fit a Unique You," we teach readers how to choose life-giving foods, and how to tailor a diet to their unique body. In the third, "Bioenergetic Tools for Wellness," we share some do-it-yourself and practitioner-assisted strategies for healing the body using energetic devices and other solutions.
